Michelle Day-Lewis – Licensed Conveyancer 

Living in Ballarat for the majority of my life I worked at a number of law firms where I first developed my interest in helping clients to purchase or sell their properties. I held a position with a law firm for nine years where I had the opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of conveyancing from dealing with general law land to creating mortgages over properties, registering caveats and assisting those who have lost loved ones deal with the properties that are left behind. 


My favourite aspect of working in conveyancing is when I see my clients and their families find a property that they love and sign contracts to begin their journey into a new chapter of their lives. As they progress through the transaction and I can finally call them to confirm their property has settled I am filled with an overwhelming sense of having helped people and made their way so much easier for them to enjoy this next part of their lives.

    After saving a deposit for many years it was in Ballarat that I experienced first-hand the excitement of purchasing my very own first home to live in and a new chapter of my life began. In August of 2018 I married my husband and moved to Chirnside Park before finally settling down and working in conveyancing locally in Lilydale.


    In 2019 I decided that I could provide my customers with a fantastic experience through helping them in their conveyancing transaction where they could be treated as if they were my only client. This led to my journey starting an Advanced Diploma in Conveyancing with Melbourne Polytechnic and completing and being awarded the Certificate and becoming a licensed conveyancing in 2020.  

    During the Melbournian lockdown period in 2020 I have developed a number of skills at home including baking macaroons and different styles of bread, creating facemasks and other useful things in getting me through this tough time.
